For the first time, the event is open to the public, providing broader opportunities for professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, activists, content creators, communities, and individuals concerned with sustainability issues to take part directly.

KG Media Lestari reflects KG Media’s commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in Indonesia. It is a media advocacy initiative that inspires, enables, and amplifies collaborative efforts to create meaningful and lasting change for a sustainable future.

Since 2024, KG Media Lestari has focused on three flagship programs: Carbon Management, the Regional Media Alliance, and the Lestari Summit & Awards. These initiatives reinforce the role of media as a catalyst for sustainability, collaboration, and positive transformation.

The Lestari Summit & Awards, in particular, has become a platform to celebrate impactful actions and stories of change.

The color of Gold symbolizes more than prestige it reflects the enduring value of action with purpose. It honors those whose efforts illuminate the path toward sustainable future.

SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL

GIVING WASTE A SECOND CHANCE

The trophies awarded in Lestari Awards 2025 are made entirely from 60,000 upcycled bamboo chopsticks and satay skewers no other materials mixed in. Those wastes were sourced from waste banks, restaurants, and individual donors, then expertly carved by our partner: Boolet.

Shape: Circular Pattern in Constant Motion

A circular pattern that continuously moves, expands, and evolves symbolizes continuity, balance, and growth.

Color: Ocean Blue / Teal as the Core Identity

Ocean blue or teal, often used in design for organizations focusing on environmental issues, represents the Earth and reflects the beauty of nature, sustainability, and harmony between humans and the environment.

Meaning: Raising Environmental Awareness

This color choice also serves as a reminder of pressing environmental challenges, such as the global water crisis and plastic pollution in the oceans.

At the same time, it evokes feelings of peace, freshness, and stability—values that align with the mission of conservation and environmental restoration.

Visual Identity: Alignment with KG Media

Blue is the primary color in KG Media’s visual identity, reinforcing consistency across platforms. Meanwhile, the secondary colors within the logo represent the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing inclusivity and global commitment.

Lestari is KG Media’s commitment to accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda. We are organizing a series of collective initiatives through KG Media’s network to advance these goals. The SDGs form a global agenda led by the United Nations and embraced by countries worldwide. Their focus is on upholding human rights and promoting equality in social, economic, and environmental development.
